I've been an avid user of Bright3 for the past 6 months or so, and back when I was creating my D3 file one thing that occured to me is that since my state has Afternoon and Evening Pick-3 draws, I should check to see if the same machine is used for both draws. If so, I would maintain one D3 file that grew by two drawings each day. If not, I would maintain two D3 files and analyze them seperately. I sent the Lottery Comission an e-mail and they indicated that the same machine is used for both Pick-3 draws, so I've been operating under that assumption ever since and have been maintaining and analyzing one D3 file.

But there was another question I should have asked that never occured to me until the other night, when I happened to be watching the news and they televised the Evening draw . . .

Oh crap!! The machine has four bins, not three! After they complete the Pick-3 drawing, they put the three balls back in and then use the same machine for the Pick-4 drawing! It never occured to me to ask if the same machine is used for both the Pick-3 AND Pick-4 draws!

My D3 file has been "flawed" for the past 6 months! While I was dutifully updating my file daily with the Afternoon and Evening Pick-3 results, I should have also been updating the file with the first three digits from the Pick-4 drawings that occured in between! My D3 file unintentionally skipped every other draw!

This may explain the dismal results I've had Laughing
