Greetings! I am a relatively new user of Ion's DOS prompt software and have a question regarding Layers. I've played with the software enough to know use of several Layers provides a benefit in terms of reducing combinations, but conceptually I don't get what the hell something that happened several thousand drawings ago has to do with what may happen in tomorrow's drawing! Can someone please comment on what the connection is?
Briefly, it’s all about randomness! A discussion on the concept of layers would be very long. I wrote about layers in more detail at SALIU.COM. The theory behind layers in my lottery software does not help much in running the software. Matter of fact, it wastes precious time.
Practically, more layers means more filters. That is, more choices in finding strategies and running the software. For example, there are more possibilities to encounter filters that reach way-out-range values from time to time. Also, there are more possibilities to set multiple filters in a strategy.
That’s all I can say. Maybe others can write more about layers. Again, analyzing the layers only has the effect of taking time away from finding strategies and running the software.
Thanks Ion! You answered a question I forgot to ask . . . I had been looking outside of Layer 1 for strategy opportunities and because I did not have a grasp on why more than one layer is used I wasn't sure if what I was doing makes sense. It sounds like it certainly does make sense!
